Our first meal after landing in big island, was amazing! The kalbi ribs were juicy and delicious. The wings were bomb and the Loco moco was perfect. Food came out quick, highly recommend. It's right next to the pool and the bar and the servers were friendly.
The food was good and well priced. The servers are all friendly and helpful! Only thing I would watch out for is the little birds. They want to come and eat your food.
We were staying at King's Land and ordered drinks from the bar one day in the afternoon. The bar is right by their main pool and easy to access. Drinks are a bit pricey but to be expected in that setting. I ordered the Tsunami Spritzer and my husband ordered Pele's Sunset. We really liked both! You can charge those orders to your room if you want, which is convenient. They also offer food.

Kings Land Bistro deserves all the stars. This is perfect poolside bar food, great drinks and a huge selection. It's exactly what you want from a poolside bar. They even offer breakfast! The price is reasonable and the food was great. If you're having a pool day, rest assured you'll have a yummy lunch poolside if you order from here. The food prep does take some time so plan accordingly, I think both of my orders took 20-30 minutes as they get busy throughout the day. You can sit and eat in their outdoor patio or take your food to go back to your room or the pool. There is live music nightly as well.
When you're too tired to leave the property, this is a great choice. Nacho's were huge and delicious. Service was very friendly. Kudos to the staff. Not a huge menu but for a poolside cafe, it is a better than average choice. Resort prices for sure. No complaints, though.
We stayed at the King's Land resort and visited the bistro. Surprisingly, the food was really good. The Asian wings were the highlight for us. They were seasoned really great and had a crunch to it. We ate them at least 3 times during our stay. We had different servers each time, and there was one that was energetic, really friendly, and attentive. His name is Bojay, and although he was responsible for all the tables, he worked the area really well. We enjoyed his service! The others were friendly, but the energy level and attentiveness were just ok. It only stays open til 5:45, which is a bummer because it's the only bistro for King's Land, so if you don't grab dinner early you gotta go up the road and find something or order pizza to be delivered. The dining area was always clean. There was live music between 4-6pm also. It's not the best, but it's live The restroom was clean, it's huge, and only has one toilet, so it's private space.
Breakfast buffet at Kingsland!! Very good fresh food. do you have fruits pastries me so rice, potatoes, Portuguese, sausage, bacon, eggs, pancakes, or waffles, toast, coffee and juices. It's outdoor relaxing casual ... Service is friendly. Smiles. Except for the chef (giggles). $25
